We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £37,500 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). A company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and death in service.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
Lead and manage the daily operations of the Control Tower team, ensuring smooth execution of international transport schedules.
* Act as the primary point of contact for customer issue resolution, handling queries and complaints professionally.
* Monitor financial performance and prepare monthly KPI reports for customer review meetings.
* Coordinate with carriers and service providers across road, ocean, and air freight to maintain cost-effective and compliant operations.
* Drive process improvements and support customer-specific projects to enhance service delivery.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven experience managing and developing a team within a logistics or transport environment.
* Strong background in international transport operations, with ocean export experience essential.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
* High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with logistics systems such as TMS, WMS, SAP.
