The Sprinkler Design Engineer is responsible for creating high-quality designs that comply with relevant standards whilst ensuring project delivery is to programme. They also maintain professional relationships with clients, team members, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities
- Creating and designing installation drawings and coordination models for fire protection sprinkler systems.
- Perform hydraulic calculations.
- Conduct site surveys when required.
- Participate in coordination meetings with the broader client team.
- Check designs to confirm compliance with relevant standards and project specifications.
- Provide mentorship to junior members of the design department.
Essential Experience
- At least 10 years of experience designing fire protection sprinkler systems.
- Proficient in creating technical drawings with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Skilled in hydraulic calculations using Canute FHC design software.
Qualifications
- A solid understanding of LPC Sprinkler Rules is essential.
- At least an LCPB Basic Design Qualification is necessary.
- Having LPCB Intermediate and FHC Design Qualifications is desirable.
- Familiarity with FM and NFPA standards is also advantageous.
