HGV Workshop Manager
Location: Hatfield
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 07:00-16:00
Salary: £48,000-£60,000 depending on experience
Interaction Recruitment are supporting our client with their hiring on a HGV Workshop Manager on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will oversee the day and night shift activiies, and will lead the team of technicians and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and organise both day and night workshop operations
2. Schedule and prepare workloads for the day shift
3. Manage handovers from the night shift, including identifying parts requirements
4. Plan workloads for night shift activities
5. Assign tasks to mechanics and monitor their progress
6. Carry out spot-check quality inspections on engineers' work
7. Organise and manage staff annual leave
8. Lead, support, and develop HGV technicians and workshop staff, offering technical guidance when needed
9. Schedule and prioritise servicing, maintenance, and repair work, including quality checking third-party repairs where required
10. Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and VOR (Vehicle Off Road) statuses
