BIM Coordinator - Commercial Office Workplace Projects - Revit - Hybrid
This medium sized B Corp architecture practice known for delivering exceptional buildings is urgently seeking a BIM Coordinator to support 2x large new-build commercial office workplace schemes initially for 6 months, but with potential extensions.
With beautifully designed offices and employing over 50 people, this top UK design practice also offers a relaxed and caring management team who place employee welfare right at the top of their agenda. Not only this, being a B Corp practice, sustainability is also at the core of most of their projects where environmental and social impact takes a higher priority than just making profits.
The successful BIM Coordinator will be providing hands-on technical support for two live commercial office workplace projects from early to developed design stages assisting project teams and architectural staff to model efficiently, iterate design options, and integrate computational workflows into live Revit projects.
This position is NOT a Revit Technician job and sits under the BIM Manager with project tasks directed by the relevant Project Architect, acting as a practical resource for project teams for Revit and Rhino queries, with responsibility for setting up and improving workflows that help teams work effectively and consistently.
BIM Coordinators applying should have proven working knowledge of Revit, including model set-up, sheets, and views; Proficiency in Dynamo for Revit; Working knowledge of Rhino and Grasshopper; Experience or understanding of Rhino.Inside.Revit workflows; Familiarity with BIM naming conventions and file management standards, to qualify for making an application.
