Scrum Master Public Sector Contract
Location: London, UK (Hybrid 2 days onsite per week)
Rate: £500/day (Inside IR35)
Contract Length: 6 months
Clearance: Active SC Clearance required
Start Date: ASAP (subject to BPSS and SC clearance checks)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join a major transformation programme within the public sector.
This role will support delivery across a strategic platform focused on data-driven risk analysis, operational efficiency, and large-scale transformation initiatives. You will play a key role in driving Agile best practices, enabling high-performing teams, and ensuring successful delivery in a complex stakeholder environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
2. Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles and Scrum best practices
3. Remove blockers and manage delivery impediments
4. Support Product Owners with backlog management, prioritisation, and story refinement
5. Drive effective communication across teams and stakeholders
