This in an excellent opportunity for someone with residential conveyancing secretarial experience who is looking to contribute to a friendly and professional legal environment.
The successful candidate will pay a key role in supporting our solicitors and legal professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of the office while managing a variety of tasks efficiently.
We are ideally looking for a full time member of the team, but part time hours would also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to solicitors and legal teams, including typing of legal documents and correspondence and using our case management system.
* Maintain and organise electronic files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
* Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
* Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings.
* Conduct research as required to support ongoing cases or projects.
* Demonstrate excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Legal Secretary is required.
* Proficiency in typing and familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
* Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite is essential; familiarity with other office software is a plus.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy office setting.
