Working Pattern Remote but preferably based in the South West or East due to occasional onsite requirements. 35hrs a week Your new role As an Energy Support Advisor, you will deliver specialist advice and practical support to families in need. Your key responsibilities will include: Explain energy bills, tariffs, metering, and usage, and share practical energy-saving tips. Respond to enquiries via telephone, email, and online chats with clear, empathetic guidance. Advise on key schemes such as Priority Services Register, Warm Home Discount, Cold Weather Payments, and Winter Fuel Payments. Help families apply for energy grants, vouchers, and schemes. Support applications for welfare benefits to increase household income. Record all enquiries and actions in the call handling system and database. Monitor grants and vouchers awarded, compiling quarterly statistics and case studies. Attend team meetings in the Bristol office and participate in wider organisational events.What you'll need to succeed A background in energy support, whether in a utilities or charitable capacity.
