Job Title: Lecturer in Plastering (Fixed term until 31st July 2026)
Salary: £31,520 - £41,547

Hours and Weeks per Year: 37 hours / 52 week

In the role of Plastering lecturer, you'll predominantly be based at Brunel House and your focus will be on delivering creating, driving and leading on high quality lessons and practical sessions in the workshops. You will be working with and established team and delivering on a range of plastering courses from level 1-2 as well as on apprenticeship and adult provision.
Your key responsibilities will be to teach and develop programmes of study to meet the needs of our learners in a variety of trades. The successful candidate will create a positive classroom environment by engaging learners and aim to help our students develop the ambition and confidence in their abilities as they prepare for their next step.
Ideally, you will have Level 2 plastering qualification or be able to prove equivalent ability with demonstrable experience in the construction industry trade. It's important that you're able to communicate effectively, engage with young people and demonstrate our college values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
