At Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (HIWFRS), you'll play a key part in supporting the day:to:day operations of our primary third:party systems, providing 2nd line support to our customers, and ensuring our operational crews and partners have the tools they need. You'll gather requirements for new system features, liaise with vendors and ensure new functionality meets our standards. You'll also support system interfaces, manage payment and absence reports, and support delivery of user training.
Key Responsibilities:
:Provide 2nd line support for ICT systems, triaging and resolving issues efficiently
:Gather user requirements for system enhancements and work with vendors to deliver solutions
:Support operational crews with new ways of working, including flexible crewing and self:rostering
:Manage interfaces between systems, including payroll and absence reporting
:Maintain user guidance and deliver end:user training (virtually and in person)
:Produce reports and support data quality for service personnel and partners
:Assist in system testing, development, and release following ITIL best practices
:Contribute to audits, monthly KPIs, and ongoing process improvements
