THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Pre-Contracts Manager to lead tender and pre-construction activities for London D&B projects, pricing and securing CAT A & CAT B office fit-outs up to £10M.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead the pre-contracts process from cost planning through tender submission.
* Develop tender strategies and manage pricing, documentation, and submissions.
* Prepare cost plans, programmes, and commercial proposals for pitches.
* Ensure projects are commercially sound and aligned with profit targets.
* Monitor costs during design development and produce detailed cost plans.
* Assess commercial risks, viability, and delivery timelines.
* Collaborate with design teams to ensure buildability and value engineering.
* Confirm compliance with building regulations and CDM requirements.
* Ensure full design packages are ready for contract handover.
* Build strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for competitive pricing.
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders to secure approvals and agreements.
* Agree contractual terms and protect business interests.
* Manage internal handover to delivery teams and support throughout the project.
