Hospitality Supervisor – Nuffield Health Guildford |SodexoFixed Term Contract: 18 monthsSalary: £14.89 per hourHours: 37.5 hours per weekWorking Pattern: 5 days per week, shifts between7:00am – 8:00pmRole OverviewReportingto the Business Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day front-of-house catering operation, leading a team of Ward Hosts to deliver an efficient, high-qualityservice to patients, visitors, and staff.You'llbe a visible presence across the hospital, ensuring smooth service delivery,maintaining standards, and supporting both ward and kitchen teams to deliver anoutstanding hospitality experience.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise the ward hospitality team, ensuring excellent service deliveryOversee the smooth day-to-day running of front-of-house operationsBe visible across wards, supporting patients and staff and resolving any service issuesEnsure all company policies, procedures, and quality standards are consistently metWork closely with kitchen teams to ensure timely service and minimise wasteManage staff rotas, including planning cover for holidays and sicknessMaintain stock control and ensure correct rotation procedures are followedEnsure all food meets required standards of quality and presentationComplete and maintain all required documentation and audit recordsTrain, support, and develop team membersLead or attend team and client meetings as requiredSupport ward service delivery where neededReport maintenance or operational issues promptly to managementCarry out all reasonable requests in line with business needsWhat You'll BringEssentialPrevious experience in a hospitality or supervisory roleStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA customer-focused mindset with a passion for service excellenceKnowledge of food safety, hygiene, and service standardsAbility to work in a fast-paced healthcare environmentDesirableExperience working within healthcare or hospital environmentsFood Hygiene certificationExperience with rota planning and stock controlWhat We OfferWorkingat Sodexo is more than just a job — it's a chance to make a real differenceevery day.
