Overview
In this permanent, part‑time role you will play a key role in managing curriculum operations, including configuring and maintaining programme, module and assessment structures in our Curriculum Management System (WorkTribe). Working closely with the Quality & Standards team and academic colleagues you will support programme approvals and modifications, administer the external examining process, and provide administrative support for quality assurance activities such as validation panels and academic integrity cases. This varied role involves liaising with staff, students, managers, and external examiners, ensuring processes run smoothly and records remain accurate and compliant.
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Curriculum Administrator to join our Registry team within the Student & Academic Services Directorate. With excellent IT skills, strong communication, and proven experience in quality assurance and data management‑ ideally within Higher Education you will thrive in a collaborative and fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Configure and maintain programme, module and assessment structures in the Curriculum Management System (WorkTribe)
• Support programme approvals and modifications in collaboration with the Quality & Standards team
• Administer the external examining process and liaise with external examiners
• Provide administrative support for quality assurance activities such as validation panels and academic integrity cases
• Liaise with staff, students, managers and external examiners, ensuring processes run smoothly and records remain accurate and compliant
Qualifications
• Educated to 2 AS Levels or 1 A Level or NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area
• Ability to speak Welsh fluently and carry out tasks such as writing emails in Welsh to a variety of audiences is essential for this post
• If applicants are not able to speak / write in Welsh to the required level at present applications are welcome from those who are committed to developing their Welsh language skills to this level within a two year period
Location
This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
