General Manager
£35,000 per annum + On-Target Earnings.
As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. You will lead a dynamic team, implement operational strategies, and uphold the highest standards of service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in the restaurant industry.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
· Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team. Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and ensures excellent customer service.
· Strive to exceed customer expectations by maintaining high standards of service and addressing customer feedback promptly and effectively.
· Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue enhancement strategies.
· Ensure that food and service quality consistently meet or exceed established standards. Implement improvements as needed.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional initiatives that drive traffic and enhance the restaurant's brand.
· Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of supplies.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the restaurant industry.
· Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including kitchen management and front-of-house procedures.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make effective decisions under pressure.
· Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management, and other relevant restaurant technology.
· A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
