Purpose of the position
Jack Links is a family-owned and value-driven business dedicated to crafting protein-packed snacks loved by consumers worldwide. They own brands such as Jack Link's, BiFi, and Peperami, which are among the fastest-growing and most innovative in the protein snack sector.
We are seeking a Senior Brand Manager UK to oversee the growth of the Peperami brand in the UK and Ireland. The role involves co-developing and executing the brand marketing plan, including innovation and market implementation, leading consumer-led initiatives to increase brand relevance and penetration, and supporting sales initiatives. The position reports to the Head of the Peperami brand.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement brand strategy and positioning, and evaluate effectiveness.
* Create marketing plans to meet brand and commercial objectives.
* Manage annual brand and communication strategies, including ATL & BTL campaigns and media planning.
* Coordinate NPD launches with R&D and operations to ensure timely delivery of new products.
* Collaborate with Category Management, Shopper, and Sales teams to develop consumer-centric propositions and communications.
* Participate in the cross-functional Country Business Team (CBT) and Marketing & Sales Team to achieve commercial targets.
* Support Shopper Marketing & Sales teams with market, brand, and product insights.
* Analyze market and consumer data to recommend growth strategies, including awareness, relevance, portfolio, pricing, and communication initiatives.
* Manage marketing budgets within set guidelines.
* Benchmark against competitors and market best practices.
Experience
* Over 7 years of FMCG marketing experience, focusing on brand management, communications, portfolio management, and product launches.
* Strong project management and cross-functional teamwork skills.
* Proven experience in ATL and BTL campaigns, including digital and social media marketing.
* Track record of successful NPD launches, driving sales growth and market penetration.
* Market knowledge of FMCG in the UK and Ireland.
* Excellent planning, prioritization, and business insight application skills.
* Ability to identify business drivers and translate them into action.
* Strong project management skills and the ability to manage complexity.
* Strategic thinker with execution and creative problem-solving abilities.
* Effective communicator who can influence others clearly and concisely.
* Self-motivated, resilient, and agile.
* Profound experience working in the UK market.
