Job Title: Goods In Coordinator
Location: Near St Ives
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm (42.5 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent
We are recruiting for an experienced Goods In Coordinator to oversee & coordinate the Goods Inwards department. This role is responsible for managing incoming stock, supporting warehouse operations, and leading a small team to ensure goods are received, processed, and stored accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and unload incoming deliveries
Check goods against delivery notes and purchase orders
Inspect items for damage and report discrepancies
Book stock into the system using warehouse software
Label, store, and organise inventory correctly
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant goods-in area
Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding issues
Assist with stock counts and general warehouse duties
Fleet and yard coordination where required
Support and lead a small team within the Goods In function
Skills & Experience
Proven experience within a Goods In / warehouse environment
Current FLT licence (essential) – in-house licences considered
Experience supervising or leading a small team (highly desirable)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident communicator with a proactive approach
Pay & Benefits
Experienced candidates with leadership experience:
£12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.45 per hour after probation
Candidates without leadership experience:
£12.21 per hour, increasing to £12.71 per hour after probation
Opportunity to progress to £13.45 per hour after completing a leadership course (typically within 12 months, depending on development)
FLT Key User Allowance:
Up to £1,000 per annum, paid in two instalments (March & September)
