We have an opportunity for a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join our team in the Imaging department. This is a part-time role for 18 hours a week, with a flexible shift pattern.
Responsibilities
* Work as an integral part of the imaging team, providing high-quality, patient-centred care, meeting the needs of patients, consultants, and colleagues.
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver care, maintain, and enhance customer service and satisfaction under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
* Maintain professionalism in line with the HCA/Imaging Assistants standards, adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and HCPC standards.
* Demonstrate competence in the role within your working areas.
* Support safe and high-quality patient care alongside the multidisciplinary team.
* Comply with all mandatory training requirements.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience as an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant.
* Experience in customer care, including handling challenging situations.
* Care Certificate.
* NVQ Level 1 or willingness to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
* Willingness to progress towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
* Maths and English GCSEs at grades A-C or equivalent functional skills level 2.
* Efficient, adaptable, with good organisational skills.
