Description
* Maintaining vendor accounts.
* Processing of purchase orders, goods received notices & supplier invoices.
* Production of monthly, weekly and ad‑hoc multi‑currency payment runs.
* Production of the weekly payment run during apple season.
* Supplier statement reconciliations.
* Reviewing aged creditors, resolving aged and incorrect items and controlling the month‑end closing process.
* Reconciliation of insurance, council tax and all other standing order accounts.
* Ensuring supplier queries are dealt with in a timely manner and resolved correctly and efficiently.
* Filing of invoices and remittances.
Profile
* Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial systems.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
* A proactive approach to problem‑solving and process improvement.
* Previous experience in the FMCG industry or a similar fast‑paced environment.
Job Offer
* Competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £32,000 per annum.
* 25‑day holiday allowance to support a healthy work‑life balance.
* 4% employer pension contribution and 5% employee pension contribution.
