Responsibilities
Lead the design, development and support of integration solutions across clinical and corporate systems using Visual Studio, JavaScript and NextGen Connect (Mirth). Act as a subject‑matter expert in interoperability and messaging standards (HL7, FHIR, Kafka). Manage a multidisciplinary team delivering integration, application development and support services. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure system reliability, performance and compliance with governance and security standards. Contribute to digital transformation initiatives, provide specialist advice to stakeholders, and oversee testing, deployment, training and ongoing system support.
Experience & Qualifications
* Significant experience in software development, system integration and application support.
* Proven track record of leading teams and delivering complex ICT or DDaT projects.
* Experience working within NHS, healthcare or similarly complex environments.
* Strong understanding of interoperability standards and integration technologies.
* Demonstrable experience in change management and service improvement initiatives.
* Experience managing resources, budgets and service delivery within an ICT setting.
