Job Title: Security Supervisor
Rate: £15.30 from the 1st April 2026

Responsibilities
* Conduct interviews for new staff members.
* Complete appraisals, probation reviews, and other HR‑related documentation.
* Complete gap analysis reviews on all the team to ensure all have the same level of knowledge.
* Be highly presentable, accountable; take responsibility and ownership for any tasks identified or allocated.
* Ensure all contact, be it internal or external; by telephone, face to face or any other medium; is clear, courteous, polite, professional and respectful.
* Ensure complete client/tenant/other service provider confidentiality; protecting people and information is paramount.
* Where applicable: appropriate use of CCTV/access control and any other electronic management system, and completion of reports and documentation in a timely fashion.
* Be familiar with all Security and Emergency procedures on site and assist in the facilitation of their safe execution and practice. There may also be a need to become a fire marshal and first aider if applicable all training will be provided.
* All Assignment Instructions / Operations Manual or Standard Operating Procedures are to be reviewed, understood and followed.
* Embrace and deliver the bespoke training requirements, specific to contractual obligation or regulation.
* Completion of rostered duties and all associated tasks or responsibilities to the highest possible standard.
* Ensure that all Health and Safety and Environmental procedures are followed and do not undertake any activity which could breach the SIA or other relevant regulations.
* To complete any other reasonable task as instructed by your line manager or other Senior Manager, either UniTrust or at the request of the Client and/or tenants.
* To support internal and external audit processes from UniTrust Security representatives, Client/Tenant Representatives, the SIA, any other relevant body with a relevant interest and valid reason for inspection or compliance checks.
* To be resilient to working in the most sensitive environments, always dealing with any conflict with a respectful and empathic approach.
* Assist in the induction, development, or ongoing training of new team members across the disciplines where appropriate.
* Act in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures and our Code of Conduct.
Essential Skills
* Previous Supervisory experience desired.
* Excellent oral, written communication skills, interpersonal skills and confidence.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Resilient and calm under pressure with the ability to multi‑task and prioritise to help solve problems and overcome challenges.
* Ability to work to instruction and on your own initiative where required.
* Computer literate and confident with the use of Microsoft Office programmes.
* Demonstrate an awareness of security threats which remain relevant and up to date in the context of the current environment.
* Operation of CCTV/access control communications in an appropriate manner.
