Solutions Engineering Intern you will be based at the location specified in your contract of employment. Over the course of your internshipyou will gainSplunk skills, someSplunkCertificationsand developbroader domain knowledgeSales, Solutions Engineering and Splunktechnology and use casesthatwill give you adetailed understanding of the Solutions Engineering role and enable you to decide if a career in Solutions Engineering is right for you.Key areas of theSolutions Engineeringrole that you will gainexposure to includeDeliveringstandardised technical product webinarsUndertakingtechnicaldiscovery calls\/conversations with prospects to discover and\/orvalidatesalesopportunitiesDeliveringconsultative presentations, demonstrations and workshops to help prospects understand how Splunk addresses their technical and business requirements, and how it differs from alternative solutionsHow Solutions Engineers own the technical strategy for opportunitiestheywork onHow wedeterminethe mostappropriate formSolution Validation for our opportunities and manage them to a successful outcomeCreatingcustom demonstrations based on customer use-cases and\/or data to demonstrate Splunkability to meet their requirementsRespondingthe technical elements oftenders (RFI\/RFPs)where sales and technical management have determined it isappropriate tomake a responseAnsweringtechnical questions from prospects and customersMakinggeneral recommendations on Splunk solutions architectureIdentifyingand managingtechnical issuesarisingthroughout the sales lifecycleRequirementsYou will bringstrong communicationskills, both verbal and writtenYou will be interested in technology and how it can be used to solve business problemsYou will bring Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems to the teamEuropean languages aredesirableEducationYou arecurrentlyuniversity andideally about to start your final year following completion of the internshipWe value diversity at our company.
