Salary: up to £55,000
An established and growing civil & structural engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Civil Engineer with strong drainage and infrastructure design expertise to join their Gloucester office and work across diverse sectors in a supportive environment with great opportunity to fast-track to an Associate role.

Job Overview
* Lead and deliver civil infrastructure design for a variety of private and public developments
* Manage and support a project team (apprentices through to engineers), providing mentoring and design guidance
* Prepare technical reports including Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Statements, Utilities Assessments, and Service Strategy Reports
* Produce and review technical drawings from concept through to construction
* Liaise directly with clients, stakeholders and approving bodies
* Attend project and site meetings, lead design reviews, and contribute to planning and technical submissions
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to new business development
Job Requirements
* Degree-qualified Civil Engineer with 7+ years' UK consultancy experience
* Strong background in drainage and infrastructure design
* Experienced in preparing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Statements, and Reports
* Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, and ideally Civils 3D or other ground modelling tools
* Some experience in vehicle swept path analysis (AutoTrack or similar)
* Strong client-facing communication and project management skills
* Commercially aware, positive and solutions-driven
