Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital is delighted to be opening its new outpatient clinical in West Norfolk, and we are looking for a dedicated and caring Healthcare Assistant to join our growing team on a flexible bank basis.
Duties And Responsibilities
As a HCA, you will play a key role supporting our clinical team, ensuring a safe, effective and exception experience for our patients. You will work across a variety of outpatient services including consultations, minor procedures and health assessments.
* Assisting clinical staff in delivering excellent patient care
* supporting minor procedures and outpatient consultations
* ensuring all equipment and clinical areas are prepared and maintained to the highest standard
* take basic observations such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
* Offering a kind, professional and reassuring presence for our patients
Who We're Looking For
* Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
* NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
* Experience in the following: ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observation
* Ability to work flexibly as part of a small and dynamic team
