Annual Salary: >£40k pa Location: Cookstown Job Type: Full-time, Permanent My client is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to lead and take accountability for their site based in Cookstown, currently employing c85 team members. This stand-alone role will involve full responsibility for day-to-day HR generalist duties and initiatives, providing customer-focused advice and support to managers, supervisors, and team members in line with our policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Day-to-day of the role: Advise and support supervisors and managers in all day-to-day operational HR matters, acting as a true business partner Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of HR and also be involved in a project capacity to ensure HR is 'adding value' long term Build strong relationships with line managers and supervisors to provide business partnering support to ensure the effective and seamless delivery of end-to-end HR processes Provide guidance and coaching to managers, supervisors, and team members Support line managers and supervisors to set goals for team members, assess capability, and drive calibration across the performance management cycle Lead change management, team member engagement initiatives, and culture & inclusion activities Manage the recruitment life cycle from inception to completion, partnering with hiring managers to ensure quality of talent Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures and ensure they are applied consistently at the site and updated where necessary Proactively manage absence and support the coordination of occupational health provision Handle disciplinary & grievance issues professionally Administer payroll for the site Plan, organise, and deliver training & development for team members at all levels Required Skills & Qualifications: HR-related degree is advantageous / Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or relevant professional qualification Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation and the ability to apply it practically within a production environment Extensive employee relations experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment Strong interpersonal and IT skills.
