The Role
The Client Management team handles prospects and clients, managing their employee risk benefit policies primarily over the phone and occasionally face-to-face. The account manager's responsibilities include maintaining an existing client portfolio, handling new business inquiries, and actively seeking growth opportunities through selling new products to existing and new clients. The goal is to minimize lapses, ensure client satisfaction for renewals, and maximize product sales to meet the annual business plan.
As a Group Risk Consultant, your duties will include:
1. Conducting monthly pre-renewal, renewal, and mid-term calls with clients to secure contract renewals.
2. Issuing market reviews for contracts undergoing rate reviews and providing appropriate advice based on client needs and regulatory requirements.
3. Identifying key decision-makers within each client and maintaining regular contact.
4. Understanding compliance and regulatory requirements such as FCA, FOS, DPA, and TCF, especially concerning sales and client service processes.
5. Generating sales leads proactively.
6. Assessing the best products and services for clients, ensuring advice is compliant and high standards of service are maintained.
7. Using client contacts to gather data, identify business development opportunities, and increase income from each client.
8. Establishing and maintaining relationships with insurers and providers.
9. Staying updated on market developments and legislative changes.
10. Completing data entry accurately in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.
