We are building an exciting kitchen team in the heart of Southport and are looking for a talented and ambitious Chef de Partie to join us. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fresh, creative concept from the ground up — helping shape menus, standards, and kitchen culture.
As Chef de Partie, you will take ownership of your section, working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver exceptional dishes using high-quality, seasonal ingredients. You will play a key role in maintaining standards, supporting junior team members, and contributing ideas in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Run and manage your designated section of the kitchen
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard
* Assist in menu development and seasonal dish creation
* Maintain food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in line with UK regulations
* Support and mentor Commis Chefs and junior team members
* Ensure stock is rotated correctly and minimise waste
* Work efficiently during busy service periods
* Contribute to a positive, creative, and professional kitchen culture
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up
* Passion for fresh, high-quality food and creative presentation
* Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures
* Ability to work calmly under pressure
* Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
* A desire to grow with a new and ambitious team
