Your new company A Co Durham based manufacturer are looking to appoint a Financial Controller to both support the Finance Director and lead, manage & mentor the small finance team. Your new role Your key duties will include, but are not limited to:- Financial Control Financial Reporting Preparation for and closure of the year end Inter-company reconciliations Examine existing controls and procedures, recommending and implementing improvements. This role will also require you to liaise with various stake-holders throughout the business, both on-site and remote and across all specialisms. What you'll need to succeed You will ideally be CIMA or ACCA qualified, currently managing a finance team and looking for your next "step up". The strongest applications will be from those who have a sound understanding of a fast-moving manufacturing environment. You will have strong Excel and ERP systems experience - ideally Oracle, JD Edwards or SAP You will be someone who is ambitious and eager to learn.
