Office Manager / Administrator - PRU School (Full-Time, Birmingham) 8:00am-4:00pm | Immediate Start Academics are currently working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Birmingham that is seeking a confident, resilient and highly organised Office Manager/Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong candidate who can handle a fast-paced environment and is not phased by the challenges that naturally come with working in a PRU. Key Responsibilities (Experience Required): Confident use and management of CPOMS and BROMCOM Strong IT skills and ability to manage multiple digital systems Handling the school mobile phone and general communication lines Recording attendance, monitoring data and contacting parents Managing and maintaining the school calendar Reporting staff/student absences and producing suspension letters Logging receipts and maintaining accurate spreadsheets Liaising daily with the Attendance Officer and Pastoral Manager Working closely alongside the Head Teacher to support operational needsThe Ideal Candidate: Calm, reliable and able to work under pressure Highly organised with strong attention to detail Experienced in a PRU or alternative provision (preferred but not essential) Able to communicate confidently with staff, parents and external agencies Ready to take ownership of their role and keep the office running smoothlyThis position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a school that supports some of the most vulnerable young people in the city.
