We’re a busy and growing construction recruitment agency based in Twickenham, London, and we’re looking for an experienced and reliable Accounts Assistant to support our day-to-day finance operations. If you’re confident using Sage 50, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have experience with weekly invoicing and payroll, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and issue weekly client invoices using Sage 50
* Process weekly payroll for agency workers and submit for payment
* Manage credit control, including chasing overdue payments and maintaining accurate debtor records
* Act as the first point of contact for client accounts queries, providing professional and friendly service
* Liaise with consultants and internal teams to ensure smooth billing and payment cycles
* Assist with other general finance and admin tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
* Solid experience in an accounts or finance support role
* Proficiency in Sage 50
* Experience with weekly invoicing and payroll for temporary staff, ideally in recruitment or construction
* Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently
