The Role
The role will predominantly be based on the night shift, working as part of the Production team. Applicants will need to demonstrate full flexibility in terms of shift patterns and work areas within the operations function. Successful applicants will need to demonstrate their ability to follow health and safety policies and procedures, work as part of a wider team, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills. The role requires being flexible to cover other shifts and to work overtime in line with business needs.
Main Purpose of Job
* Ensuring HSE best practices are followed to prevent injury to themselves and co-workers.
* Reporting all safety-related incidents and concerns in a timely manner.
* Ensuring compliance with PPE, SSoW, Quality Standards and housekeeping standards.
* Producing quality products off the machine and highlighting concerns promptly.
* Supporting the team to deliver the production plan on a daily basis.
* Working constructively with coworkers, the shift manager, and the wider site team to drive improvement in safety, quality, waste and machine efficiency.
* Demonstrating an open, professional, and positive culture on the shift.
The role is a 37.5 hour week on a night shift basis (Mon-Thu 22:00–06:00, Fri 17:00–22:30).
Specifications
* Follow health and safety policies and support a positive safety culture.
* Adhere to defined procedures and standards to meet customer quality requirements.
* Participate in proactive problem-solving to address production issues.
* Communicate to ensure a high-quality handover between shifts.
* Understand basic numerical data required to operate to production standards.
* Work well on own initiative and as part of various teams within Operations.
Previous experience in a factory environment and shift work is advantageous.

* Essential: Ability to follow health and safety policies and work as part of a team.
* Desirable: Previous factory/shifts experience and ability to work overtime as needed.
