Job Description:
Are you passionate about working with young children with autism and helping them thrive in their early years? Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded Primary School in North Bristol, starting September 2025. This is a full-time, term-time only position (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm), with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

About the Role:
* Support pupils in Early Years with a diagnosis of autism
* Deliver tailored strategies to support communication, sensory regulation, and engagement
* Work alongside teachers, the SENCO, and parents to ensure consistent, child-centred support
* Encourage confidence, independence, and social interaction in a nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with young children with Autism, ideally in an Early Years or nursery setting
* A patient, creative, and nurturing approach to supporting SEND pupils
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
