Pest Officer - Temporary Location: 90 Dargan Crescent, Belfast, BT3 9JP | Hours: 37/week | Rate: £15.82 PAYE | Start: 18 Feb 2026 We are seeking a qualified Pest Officer to carry out pest control, disinfection, and drain testing in a busy operational environment. You will provide expert advice, maintain records, and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities: Carry out pest control treatments for rodents, insects, and other pests. Undertake disinfection, drain testing, and supervisory duties. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required. Provide advice to colleagues, internal teams, and external partners. Participate in training programs and support student development. Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, and customer care standards. Skills & Experience: Full driving licence required. BPCA/RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management (or willing to obtain within 6 months). Minimum 1 year pest control experience. Knowledge of health & safety, risk assessments, and safe handling of chemicals. Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
