Deputy Programme Director
Location: This is a Hybrid role. Whiteley, Hampshire
Clearance Required: This role will require attainment and maintenance of SC clearance.
Leidos is seeking an accomplished Deputy Programme Director/Deputy Systems Integrator Lead to support the leadership of a major, complex programme within the aviation sector. Reporting directly to the Programme Director/Systems Integrator Lead, this senior role will provide strategic oversight and operational leadership across a multi-disciplinary programme, ensuring delivery against contractual commitments and milestones.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Programme Manager or Director with a strong background in Systems Integration Programmes, ideally within aviation or similarly complex industries.
What will I be doing?
1. Act as deputy to the Programme Director, providing leadership and direction across the programme.
2. Oversee delivery of systems integration activities, ensuring alignment with contractual deadlines and quality standards.
3. Drive programme governance, risk and dependency management, and ensure robust mitigation strategies.
4. Manage complex stakeholder relationships across internal teams, external partners, and customers.
5. Ensure financial performance of the programme, including forecasting, cost control, and reporting.
What does Leidos need from me?
6. Extensive experience leading successful large-scale, complex programmes, ideally in systems integration within aviation or related industries.
7. Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary programmes, with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
8. Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
9. Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of contractual frameworks
10. Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Pay Range:
£71,700.00-£94,300.00
