Hair Lecturer- 37 hours per week - up to £38,186.75 - dependent on skills, experience and qualifications. Based between Weybridge and Ashford, Surrey. Brooklands Technical College is a further education college supporting young people and adults to take the next steps on their career path. Hair and Beauty offer a variety of courses for learners across Level 1 to L3, the learners range from age 14-19 through to adult education. As Hair Lecturer you will work as part of a team within the department delivering a range of high-quality courses, providing qualification and progression opportunities for all learners, within the curriculum area.
Responsibilities
* Teach on a programme of appropriate courses
* Assess, review and record learner progress
* Maintain course and learner records
* To embed employment skills into the curriculum courses
Qualifications
* Degree/HND or equivalent vocational professional qualification
* Certificate in Education or willingness to gain such qualification
* Level 2 in English and Maths
* Evidence of ongoing professional development
* Assessor or Verifier qualified a distinct advantage
