The role offers wide exposure across a large and diverse estate portfolio, with the opportunity to grow responsibility and technical capability over time.
The Estate
Our client manages one of the most prominent estates in southern England, centred on a nationally significant heritage asset and the surrounding town and countryside.
The estate portfolio is broad and highly varied, comprising:
1. Historic and heritage assets, including a Grade I listed principal building, gardens and parkland that support tourism and events

3. Woodland and environmental assets, with a strong emphasis on biodiversity, habitat restoration and conservation‑led land management
4. Residential property, including estate cottages and town properties supporting the local community
5. Commercial and community property, such as offices, yard space and estate buildings
6. Strategic development land, delivering well‑designed, community‑focused schemes aligned with local planning policy
The estate is professionally managed with a clear focus on long‑term stewardship, heritage preservation, sustainability and strong tenant and community relationships.
The Role
Based from the estate office, the successful candidate will provide day‑to‑day estate and property management support, working closely with tenants, contractors and the wider estate team.
Key responsibilities will include:
7. Liaising with tenants and contractors, including arranging property maintenance and inspections
8. Assisting with commercial and residential rent reviews
9. Managing correspondence with tenants, contractors and internal estate teams
10. Administering ad hoc licences (including gardens, garages, grazing and buildings)
11. Supporting the coordination and delivery of the annual inspection programme
12. Assisting with compliance requirements across the estate portfolio, including health & safety, statutory compliance and insurance risk
13. Maintaining and updating estate systems and CRM records
14. Supporting awareness of estate budgets, cashflow and arrears
The role offers broad exposure across estate operations and is ideally suited to someone keen to expand their responsibilities and knowledge in a structured and supportive environment.
The Ideal Candidate
We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
15. Experience in a similar estate, property or land management support role
16. A good understanding of property compliance requirements
17. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
18. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
19. A practical, solutions‑focused approach
20. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (CRM experience advantageous)
21. A positive attitude and commitment to teamwork and customer service
