Are you looking to kick-start your career in teaching? We have an exciting opportunity for Cover Supervisors to join our team and work in local secondary schools across Crawley and its surrounding areas.
Job Description: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of classrooms during the absence of regular teaching staff. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supervising lessons independently, following the guidance provided by the class teacher.
2. Supporting and supervising students to maintain a positive learning environment.
3. Covering a variety of subjects across different classes; subject specialism is not required.
4. Utilising your experience working with children, preferably in a secondary school setting, to confidently lead classes.
Requirements:
5. Previous experience working with children, particularly in a secondary school environment.
6. Ability to independently lead classes with confidence.
7. Possession of a driving license is advantageous, as the role may involve travelling to different schools on a weekly basis.
