South Gloucestershire
From Augustine to Aquinas, Gandhi to Martin Luther King Jr., the study of religion has always inspired reflection, dialogue, and a deeper understanding of humanity. Why not add yourself to the list of those shaping minds and values? Whilst we can’t promise you the legacy of the great thinkers, Thrive Education can give you the opportunity to join one of South Gloucestershire’s most respected schools on an initial contract basis, working across all key stages to help the next generation explore belief systems, ethics, and the role of religion in society.
As a long term position, you will be committed to the school and work closely with the department lead to ensure that you provide an engaging and supportive environment. You’ll deliver high-quality teaching that caters for all classes, encouraging students to think critically and reflect meaningfully.
How will you do this?
• Utilising your experience to offer a range of teaching strategies that inspire curiosity and respect.
• Guiding students in their progress and development, offering constructive feedback and tailored improvement plans.
• Collaborating with colleagues in the department and the wider school community to promote shared values and the school’s ethos.
• Building strong communication with parents and guardians to support student learning.
Why this role?
This is a chance to secure a permanent position, working alongside some of the best educational professionals in the county, for a school that truly values Religious Studies as a vital part of the curriculum.
