Role Overview
NES Fircroft is seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to support our clients accounting operations of several offshore wind farm entities. This contract role offers exposure to a fast-growing sector within renewable energy and the opportunity to work on high-impact projects.
Scope of Work
Delivery of financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts
Development of audit-standard working papers and support during audit processes
Balance sheet management, including reconciliations and resolution of ledger issues
Strategic financial support for wind farm developments, acquisitions, divestments, and restructuring initiativesRequired Qualifications
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant
Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience
Strong understanding and application of IFRS
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Ability to present financial information clearly and conciselyDesirable Skills
Experience using SAP
Familiarity with CCH accounts preparation softwareAdditional Information This role is hybrid, with the base location in Swindon. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and forward-thinking team contributing to the UK’s renewable energy transition. Sponsorship is not available for this role so a full UK Right to Work is essential.
