If so, due to continuing success, we are experiencing rapid and extensive growth in all business sectors, and we are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a successful background in the world of Construction/ M&E.
You will join our Commercial team supporting a variety of projects covering Nottingham area overseeing the QMC- Hospital Project.
You will support financial management of Contracts, in partnership with the Contracts Managers and or Project Managers.
Whatyouwillbedoing:
* Workinpartnershipwithsitemanagement,commerciallysupportingsitesasrequired,todevelopaproactivesiteteam.Ensuringthatcontractualobligationsareidentifiedandadministered.
* VetcontractdocumentationonreceiptfromClienttoensurecompatibilitywiththeCompanysTenderandsubsequentnegotiations
* ProduceCommercialRiskRegisterforeachcontract.Monitorriskandassistinimplementationofagreedmitigationmeasures
* PrepareandissueenquiriesforMajorPlant&EquipmentandSub-Contractpackages.Vetquotationscommerciallyandnegotiatepriceandtermswithvendors.IssueresultantPurchaseOrders
* PrepareandsubmitApplicationsforPaymentand/orInvoices,obtainPaymentCertificatesandprogressClientPaymentsinaccordancewithcontractualprovisions
* Measure,submitandagreeVariations,Loss&Expenseand/orCompensationEventsinaccordancewithcontractualprovisionstofacilitatepromptagreementofFinalAccounts
* Monitoron-siterecordkeeping.PrepareandissueNoticesinaccordancewithcontractualprovisions
* PrepareandsubmitmonthlyCostValueReconciliationsandCash/SpendProfiles.AttendContractReviewMeetings
* AuthorisationandcodingofSuppliersandSub-ContractorsInvoicesandsubmissiontoFinanceforpayment
* Measure,certifyandagreeSub-Contractorsinterimvaluationsandfinalaccounts.PrepareandissuecontractualnoticestoSub-Contractors
Whowearelookingfor:
* Aseniorquantitysurveyorwhohasasuccessfulconstructionportfolio
* EducatedtoBScinQuantitySurveying(orotherequivalentcommerciallyrelateddiscipline)
* Good understanding of NEC Contracts 3/ 4, Options A,B, C,D, E (Mostly A)
* MemberofProfessionInstitution(e.g.MRICSorsimilar)
* Have knowledge and working experience of Construction/ M&E
* Beabletodemonstratecommercialawareness/acumen
