Female Complex Care Assistant – Nights
Location: Ilkley
Hourly Rate: £14.00
Shifts: 21:30 – 06:30 | 3 nights per week
➡️ Must be able to cover weekdays, weekends, annual leave & sickness cover
Pet-friendly: There’s a dog in the home, so you must be comfortable around pets

Are you a compassionate and reliable care professional? Do you have experience in complex care and a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We’re looking for a Female Complex Care Assistant to provide 1:1 overnight care for a child in Ilkley. This is a role where your skills and kindness will have a lasting impact.
Due to the location and school escort duties, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
About the Role
You’ll play a vital role in a young person’s life—providing both medical and emotional support, ensuring they feel safe, included, and empowered at home and at school.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering tailored, person-centred care
* Providing personal and medical care during night shifts
* Escorting the child to and from school when required
* Monitoring and supporting clinical needs (full training provided)
* Liaising with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
✅ Clinical Skills – Experience or Willingness to Train
* Tracheostomy care
* Suctioning (oral, tracheal, nasopharyngeal)
* Enteral & PEG feeding
* Oxygen therapy
About You
* Caring, patient, and dependable
* Experience with children or within a complex care setting
* Comfortable working independently and within a team
* Full UK driving licence & own vehicle
* Eager to learn and develop new skills
