About The Role

Join Our Dynamic Finance Team at IPL Normanton!

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an Administrator - Finance Cost Control to become a vital part of our Finance Team at our Produce packing facility in Normanton. If you are passionate about Finance and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you! Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday - Wednesday, 08:30am - 05:00pm (24 hours per week)
• Location: IPL Normanton, Hybrid working (1 day per week from home, 2 days in the office)
• Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract 6 months
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Maintains GFR (Goods for Resale) price files, in accordance with the prescribed processes and controls.
2. Updates the haulage and sea freight price files, in accordance with the prescribed processes and controls.
3. Uploading Transport Costs Daily to the system
4. Working with our Suppliers Customs Agents ensuring that invoices are paid correctly
5. Managing the Purchase and Sales Charges Cubes.
6. Ensures all relevant documentation to support price and haulage cost amendments are filed and are retrievable for audit purposes.
7. Resolves any invoicing queries, relating to price or haulage, in a timely manner to enable supplier to be paid to terms.
8. Demonstrates an enquiring and challenging mind when amending prices – investigating potential errors and anomalies.
9. Escalates any issues or concerns relating to the integrity of pricing to the Pricing Manager or Senior Management on a timely basis.

What are we looking for?
10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
11. High attention to detail
12. Good Microsoft skills – Excel, PowerPoint - desirable
13. Experience of working in a high volume, fast paced environment
14. Appreciates the importance of financial controls and works hard to enforce them
15. FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) - desirable
16. GSCOP (Groceries Supply Code of Practice) – desirable
