Matthew James Recruitment are looking for a Customer Service Administrator on behalf of their client in Leicestershire. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service by managing customer inquiries, processing orders, handling complaints, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations. This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Monday- Friday 8:30-5:30pm Key Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the companys CRM or ERP systems. Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints. Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex problems as needed. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., sales, logistics, finance) to ensure customer satisfaction. Prepare and send customer correspondence including order confirmations, invoices, and delivery updates. Support the customer service team in meeting performance goals and improving service processes. Generate reports and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement. Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies. Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management. Requirements: Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and customer management systems (CRM). Strong verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Problem-solving skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude. High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Familiarity with e-commerce or retail processes.
