We are recruiting for a Combustion Field Service Engineer to join our team in any of the following locations: Bracknell, Didsbury, Leicester or Luton.
Responsibilities:
* Achieving the development of on-site installation, commissioning, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems.
* Prepare site visit reports and maintain time sheets for submission to clients.
* You will drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to field services and product development.
* You will lead cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will act as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders.
* To ensure that the Company Health and Safety Policy is adhered to, actively promoting a safe working environment.
We Value:
* Reasonable knowledge of working with PLC, and other field instrumentation.
* Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
* Ability to read and understand P&IDs, and electrical schematics
* Previous combustion experience working with process gas and oil burners
* Commercial Gas certification (COCN1, TPCP1, CCN1, CIGA1, CORT1 & CDGA1, ICPN1)
* Able to work confidently on their own initiative as well as a part of a team
* Prepared to travel and be away from home for prolonged periods
* Ability to work under pressure
* No fear of working at heights / confined spaces / offshore
* Good computer and communication skills
