Job Summary
This is a chance for a chef with passion and a willingness to learn to take their skills to the next level under the experienced and skilled eye of head chef Tommy Morriss. You should have some previous experience in a commercial kitchen but the priority is you willingness to learn and fit in with the team.
Your Role depending on experience will include:
* Working alongside the head chef and the existing team in the day to day running of the kitchen
* Working any section in the kitchen that is required
* Completing kitchen paperwork to the correct standard
* Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
* Assisting develop menus
* Covering for the head chef
What we look for in a Chef:
* Preferably minimum 2 years experience
* Minimum level 2 food safety
* A great passion for food and developing your skills
* Willingness to learn new skills and listen to advice from the Head Chef
* Good communication skills to liaise with front of house
* Willingness to go the extra mile for the business
* A team player who wants to work towards a common goal
* A good listener
* Developed knife skills preferable
* Detail orientated
* Ability to multi-task in high pressure situations whilst maintaining a high-quality level of food.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.25-£16.00 per hour
