Job Description

Key responsibilities consist of:

3. Develop and maintain strong, profitable relationships with key customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of tasks and projects.
4. Serve as the primary point of contact for designated key accounts, effectively communicating through various channels, including email, phone, and Microsoft Teams.
5. Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.
6. Process customer inquiries, orders, and change requests accurately and on time, collaborating with other departments to meet deadlines.
7. Assist in financial negotiations with customers and suppliers, including bid management and face-to-face meetings.
8. Maintain accurate records and files for all related business activities, ensuring timely and accurate sales reporting.
9. Ensure all customer pricing is implemented accurately and on time, with clear communication of pricing changes to relevant departments.
10. Identify and explore new customer sales opportunities in line with the company's strategic sales objectives.
11. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer problems and to enhance commercial and environmental performance.
12. Provide training and support to key account users as needed, including customer portals.
13. Maintain and issue a 12-week rolling forecast, ensuring clear and timely communication of new business wins, delists, and key volume changes.
14. Actively pursue debtors in conjunction with the Customer Service Manager.
15. Discuss key account needs within the company to drive continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Account Coordinator should have:

16. Previous experience in a customer service or account management role, ideally within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
17. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
18. Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
19. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
20. A proactive approach to problem-solving and client management.
21. The ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.

22. Basic salary of £27,000 DOE
