What you will do: Develop and execute a clear business development and sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives. Lead, coach, and manage the Sales Team to achieve targets and drive continuous improvement. Identify and secure new business opportunities across target sectors and geographic markets. Promote both new and existing client engagement and growth through supporting customers to satisfy their needs. Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial enquiry through quotation, negotiation, and order placement. Support the development of tailored technical solutions in collaboration with internal teams. Oversee marketing activities including branding, customer communications, and industry events. Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals to customers. Ensure all sales activities operate within agreed budgets and deliver strong commercial returns. Contribute to overall company strategy as a member of the senior management team. What you need to succeed: Practical knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing and sales. Previous track record in sales withing the engineering sector. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Excellent interpersonal skills to prepare and deliver formal presentations to customers. Valid, Clean Driving License Valid Passport. Travel is required variation of time and frequency out of the country. It will be initially the UK mainland and Ireland but will progress to foreign travel.
