Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant with experience in SEN (Special Educational Needs) to support students in a vibrant and inclusive school in the local area. This role is ideal for someone who understands the importance of patience, consistency, and personalised support in a childs development.
Role Overview
Provide one:to:one and group support to children with SEN
Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
Implement individual learning plans (ILPs) and behaviour support strategies
Encourage the social and emotional development of pupils
Foster a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements
Experience working with children with SEN (e.g., Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs)
A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
