We have the beautiful produce being delivered from 5 minutes away from our Kitchen Garden at Mount St John. We have a talented team of Chefs in place and are looking for a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our team to help us achieve our goal of receiving 2 rosette within the next 6 months.
We are offering a competitive package -
* Salary range of £32,000 to £33,000
* Tips split equally between all members of the team using TiPJAR app which allows weekly or monthly access to tips. We average £2.50+ per hour worked
* 28 days holiday, pro rata
* 48 Hour working week with flexible shift patterns available
* Opportunity to be involved in menu development, ever changing specials & event evening.
* Currently maintaining 1 Rosette Standards and from September pushing to achieve 2 Rosettes and Michelin Guide Recommendation
* Opportunity to cater at our Private Lodge located near by cooking for a variety of guests
* Live in accommodation available if required

We are looking for someone who is…
· A qualified Chef through experience or a chef looking to take the next step up into Kitchen Management
· Passionate about food and service, motivational and strives for excellence.
· Can work to tight specifications as well as demonstrating innovation and creativity.
· Organised and willing to cover a range of tasks including food preparation and oversee food ordering.
· A strong team player, with a 'can do' attitude, who can gain and holds respect with our customers, and working with kitchen and front of house staff.
· An excellent communicator and relationships building skills.
· Conversant in Food Hygiene and Food Safety regulations.
