The team is growing and seeking qualified solicitors in London with experience in contentious and/or non-contentious construction law to advise on high-value, technically challenging projects across both the public and private sectors.
You’ll work as part of an integrated national team that supports clients through all stages of the project lifecycle, from procurement and contract formation to risk management, dispute resolution, and litigation.
Key responsibilities
Depending on your focus and experience, work may include:
* Acting on domestic and international arbitration matters (ICC, LCIA, DIAC, ADCCAC, QICCA).
* Managing High Court and Technology & Construction Court (TCC) litigation, adjudications, and mediations.
* Advising on contractual risk management, project delivery, and dispute avoidance strategies.
* Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, and development agreements.
* Supporting clients across major infrastructure, energy, and regeneration projects throughout the UK and internationally.
* Working closely with partners and clients to deliver commercial, solutions-oriented advice across the full project lifecycle.
What you’ll bring
* Post-qualification experience in contentious or non-contentious construction law, ideally from a leading firm.
* A strong understanding of standard form contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC) and the ability to apply them in practice.
* Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
* Confidence working on complex, multi-party projects and engaging directly with clients.
* A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for high-profile, technically interesting work in the construction and infrastructure space.
Why join
You’ll join a team known for combining technical excellence with practical, real-world advice, supporting clients through the entire life of major development and energy projects.
The firm offers a genuinely collegiate and supportive environment, with strong partner access, professional development, and exposure to cutting-edge disputes and project work.
