A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Procurement professional to lead a team covering Corporate Services (categories include HR, Professional Services, Fleet, Travel, Property, Workplace Services and Engineering).
The Role
* Lead procurement activities for the indirect category areas in order to drive true value
* Liaise with the wider Supplier Relationship Management team to build relationships to enhance Risk Management, Innovation and Performance across the Supply base.
* Build robust stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted Business Partner across Corporate Services
* Develop and coach a small team to ensure strategic category plans are developing in line with overall business goals
* Promote best practice procurement standards to ensure governance and compliance
* Champion ethical sourcing and sustainability within your procurement activities
The person
* You will be an experienced procurement professional with strong Indirect Corporate Services background
* You will enjoy team management and have previous experience fostering a high performing culture.
* You will be an excellent communicator with a flexible and proactive mindset.
The Company
This is a progressive organisation with an HQ in Surrey. You will be able to work in a hybrid way with some time in the office and visiting suppliers as required.
You will have UK right to work and be based in the UK.
Salary is c£80k plus a strong benefits package
