We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will:
* Provide commercial leadership and strategic guidance to ensure projects are delivered cost-effectively and within budget.
* Prepare, analyse, and present detailed cost reports, providing regular updates to the project team and stakeholders.
* Implement effective cost control measures and value management strategies to optimize project value.
* Prepare monthly forecasts, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports, and Profit & Loss statements to track financial performance.
* Oversee and manage the commercial aspects of construction projects, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
* Ensure effective cash flow management throughout the project lifecycle.
* Administer subcontractor payments, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and accurate processing.
* Offer expert advice on contractual matters, providing solutions to resolve potential disputes and mitigate risks.
REQUIREMENTS
* Degree preferred.
* Wide experience in the discipline within the house building industry.
* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
* Experience of COINS is preferred.
* Current CSCS card or equivalent is desirable

The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £75k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.
